Description
Nos 12 to 20 Avery Row is an early 19th century row of buildings that has been altered over time. The buildings are constructed of stock brick, with some areas covered in stucco. Nos 12 to 17 are three storeys high and have eight windows across, while Nos 18 and 20 are four storeys tall, each featuring two windows. The row has plain parapets. Most of the shop fronts are from the late 19th or 20th century, except for No 20, which retains its original shop front. This original front includes small panes, timber glazing bars, panelled risers, and an entablature, along with a square-headed panelled shop door that has a fanlight to the right.
