Description

A pair of terraced "4th rate" artisans' houses, built around 1800 in the City of Westminster. The houses are constructed of stock brick, with number 10 painted, and have a concealed roof. They are two storeys high and two windows wide. Number 10 has a semicircular arched doorway leading to a panelled door and patterned fanlight, set within a stuccoed reveal. Number 11 has a square-headed doorway with a similar door and fanlight in a stuccoed reveal. The ground floor of number 11 originally contained a shop, and retains a frame of slender wooden pilasters supporting an entablature. The windows are recessed glazing bar sashes under flat, gauged arches with stuccoed reveals. A tall parapet with coping finishes the facade.
