Description

A terrace of houses at 15-21 South Eaton Place, London, dating from the early 19th century and subsequently altered. The houses are constructed of stucco, with slate mansard roofs to numbers 17 and 19. They are arranged over three storeys and each house has two windows wide. Later pilastered doorcases frame the round-headed entrances. The front doors are panelled, with a patterned fanlight above the door at number 19. A continuous iron balcony with an anthemion pattern runs along the first floor. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars; numbers 15 and 17 have architraves to the upper windows. A cornice sits above the second floor, which is simplified in design, and a parapet with cast iron area railings completes the facade. The buildings are included on the register solely for their group value.
