Description
No. 96 Jermyn Street is a terrace house built around 1675, with alterations made in the early to mid 19th century. The building is faced with stucco and has a slate roof. It stands four storeys high with a parapet and coping, and features three windows across its front. The ground floor has a mid-19th century shop front framed by pilasters. The upper floors contain nearly flush framed sash windows without glazing bars, topped by flat arches. There are architrave framed panels at the floor levels and below the parapet. Inside, the house retains a closed string turned baluster staircase and some original panelled partition walls and cornices.
