Description
No. 95 Jermyn Street is a terrace house built around 1675 and altered in the early to mid-19th century. It has a stucco facade and a slate roof, standing four storeys tall. The building features a moulded string course at the third floor and is topped with a stone cornice and blocking course. It has three windows across its front. The ground floor includes a square-headed house doorway on the right, which has a patterned fanlight and a six-panel door, along with a mid-19th century pilastered shop front with a fascia. The upper floors are adorned with flat-arched, architraved sash windows that lack glazing bars, with the first-floor windows featuring consoled entablatures. Inside, the house retains a closed string turned baluster staircase and significant original elements such as panelling, box cornices, and a panelled passage.
