Description
No. 93 Jermyn Street is a terrace house built around 1675, with alterations made in the 18th century and mid-19th century. It has a stucco exterior and a slate roof, standing four storeys tall. The building features a moulded plat band at the third floor and is topped with a stone cornice and blocking course. The façade is three windows wide. The ground floor includes a square-headed entrance on the right with a fanlight and a six-panel door, along with a mid-19th century shop front that has thin mullioned lights, panelled risers, and is framed by pilasters with a moulded cornice above the fascia. The upper floors have flat-arched, architraved sash windows without glazing bars, with the first-floor windows featuring consoled entablatures. Inside, the house retains a closed string staircase with turned balusters and some original panelling and box cornices. The front room on the first floor showcases features from the mid-18th century.
