Description
TQ 2980 SW CITY OF WESTMINSTER JERMYN STREETSW1 81/38 No 93 GV II Terrace house. c.1675, altered C18 and mid C19. Stucco faced, slate roof. 4 storeys with moulded plat band to 3rd floor and crowning stone cornice and blocking course. 3 windows wide. Ground floor has square headed house entrance to right with fanlight and 6 panel door, and a mid C19 shop front with thin mullioned lights to window, panelled risers, framed by pilasters with moulded cornice to fascia. Upper floors have flat arched architraved sash windows, no glazing bars, those on 1st floor with consoled entablatures. Interior retains closed string turned baluster staircase and some of original panelling, box cornices etc. 1st floor front room with mid C18 features. Survey of London; vol XXIX
