Description

No. 90 Jermyn Street is a terrace house built around 1675, with its front altered in the early 19th century. The building is faced with stucco and has a slate roof. It is three and a half bays wide. The ground floor features an entrance on the right, which includes a wooden doorcase with half pilasters, a frieze, a cornice, and panelled reveals. The flush framed sash windows do not have glazing bars, and the narrow half windows above are blind on the ground and first floors. There are plat bands at the first and second floors. The original interior remains virtually intact, showcasing a closed string turned baluster staircase in a panelled well, panelled rooms on the ground, first, and second floors with box cornices, and chimney pieces with bolection surrounds.
