Description

No. 11 Princes Street is a late 18th-century terrace house located in the City of Westminster. The building is constructed of stock brick and features a slate roof. It stands four storeys tall, with a basement and attic, and has three windows across the upper floors. The ground floor is stuccoed and has two altered mid-19th century sash windows. To the left, there is a semi-circular arched doorway that includes a reeded panel door set in a reeded frame, adorned with lion head stops and sidelights, topped by a radial patterned fanlight. The upper floors feature revealed sashes with original glazing bars, set beneath flat gauged arches. There is a moulded stucco sill course at the first floor and plain stucco plat bands on the second and third floors, along with a main cornice at the third floor and a parapet with coping. Additionally, cast iron balconettes dating from around 1800 are present at all windows on the upper floors.
