Description

No. 27 Litchfield Street is a late 17th-century terrace house that was refaced in the mid to later 19th century. The building is constructed of stock brick, with a concealed roof. It stands four storeys high and has a two-window frontage. The ground floor originally contained a semicircular arched doorway on the right-hand side, featuring a panelled door and fanlight; however, this has been replaced with a mid-20th century shop front. The upper floors retain sash windows recessed beneath flat, gauged red brick arches, each with a key. A parapet with coping runs along the top of the building. The interior contains a panelled passage hall.
