Description

Nos 12 and 14 Cleveland Square are a pair of mid-19th century terraced houses. They are constructed of stucco, with a hidden roof. The houses are four storeys high, with an attic and basement, and each is three windows wide. Each property has a projecting Doric porch, with solid sides featuring square windows. The front doors are panelled and studded. The windows have square heads, with architraves above the ground floor and pediments to the first floor, incorporating fluted Corinthian half cornices. The second-floor windows are corniced. The windows are sash style, with plate glass, and French casements to the first floor. A dentil cornice sits above the third floor, and a smaller dentil cornice defines the attic. Cast iron window guards are present on the second floor. The houses have area balustrades.
