Description

This is a terrace of houses located on Wilton Crescent in Westminster, built in the early to mid-19th century. The houses are constructed of stucco. The central five bays, and three bays at each end, project slightly, with the first and second floors unified by prominent Corinthian pilasters. The terrace is three storeys high, with an attic and a mansard roof, and includes a basement (some of the houses have taller basements). Each house is two windows wide, except for numbers 36, 42, and 48, which have three windows. The ground floor is characterised by channelling. The doorways are square headed, with the exception of numbers 36, 42, and 48, which have round headed doorways, all with matching round headed ground floor windows. Numbers 41 and 43 feature slightly projecting Greek Doric porches. The windows are square headed, and a cornice sits above the second floor. The interiors have not been inspected.
