Description
No. 126 Wigmore Street is a terraced town house dating from around 1770 to 1780, part of the Portman Estate development, with a later shop front added. The building is constructed of stock brick with a stuccoed ground floor and has a concealed slate roof. It stands four storeys high and is three windows wide. The shop front was altered in the mid-20th century. The upper floors feature recessed sash windows under flat gauged arches, and there is a plat band at the first floor level. A parapet with coping tops the building, and there is a cast iron balcony across the first floor. This property is included in the listing for its group value.
