No 3 and garden screen colonnade

House. 1914 by A.F. Faulkner. Portland stone faced; slate roof. Urban "villa" with Free Dixhuitième features. 2 storeys, basement and dormered mansard. 3-window wide centre with 2 storey canted bay windows to styled parapeted attic wings. Off-centre semicircular arched recessed porch entrance in channelled ground floor with a central tripartite architraved window with glazing bar casements. 1st floor has central, set forward aediculed window with Ionic columns. The canted bays each have concave returns and glazing bar casements. 3 dormers, the central one with shell hood. The 1st floor between the wings is fronted by a balustraded parapet; dentil cornice and solid parapet; the stepped corniced parapeted attics of wings contain wreathed and swagged ornament. The south garden front has similar bay window and the garden screened from street by an Ionic colonnade and balustrade linking No. 3 with the rear of No. 8 Queen Anne Street q.v.
