Description

There are four lamp standards numbered 1 to 4, located on Duke of York Street in the City of Westminster. The two lamp standards closest to St. James's Square were made in 1910 and feature fluted iron circular designs with the monogram "G.V.R.", known as the "Eddystone column" type. The other two lamp standards at the Jermyn Street end are mid-19th century cast iron standards with square bases and Nico lanterns. These lamp standards are included in the listing for their group value.
