Description

This is a terrace of houses located on Chester Row in the City of Westminster, dating to around 1830. The buildings are constructed of stucco, with the central pair and the end houses slightly projecting. The terrace is four storeys high, with a basement level. Each house has two windows across the facade. The entrances feature panelled doors, while the ground floor windows are round-headed. A continuous cast iron balcony runs along the first floor. The windows are sash windows, some with glazing bars and others with plate glass. Architraves and cornices are present above the first-floor windows of numbers 12, 14, and 22. A cornice sits above the third floor. Cast iron area railings are also part of the exterior.
