Description

TQ 2981 SE CITY OF WESTMINSTER SOHO SQUARE, W1 58/11 23.11.78 No. 21 GV II Terrace house (cum offices) on corner site. A rebuild of 1838-40 possibly incorporating fabric of c.1678-79. Stock brick above stone faced ground floor of the 1920s, slate roof. 4 storeys,basement and mansard attic. 4 windows wide to square. Ground floor stone pilastered shop front with central glazed-in pedimented porch. Upper floors have glazing bar sashes in flush frames with rosettes across heads, under flat gauged arches. Heavy dentil cornice over 2nd floor, top cornice and blocking course. Moulded cast iron balcony across 1st floor, window guards to 2nd floor windows. Scrolled cast iron area railings.
