Description
Nos. 13 to 15 Buckingham Gate are a row of terraced townhouses built in the mid-18th century. They are constructed of brown brick and topped with slate roofs, featuring three storeys, basements, and dormered mansards, with No. 13 having an additional attic storey. Each house has a front that is three windows wide, with architraved doorways and fanlights located to the left. The windows are recessed glazing bar sashes set beneath flat gauged red brick arches. There is a plat band and sill band on the first floor, along with a stone cornice, which is cyma bracketed on No. 15, and parapets with copings. Nos. 13 and 14 are adorned with geometric pattern cast iron balconies on the first floor. Wrought iron area railings with urn finials complete the exterior. A plaque on No. 15 commemorates the residence of Wilfred Scawen Blunt. The interiors have not been inspected.
