Description
This fountain, located on the east side of the junction with Avery Farm Row, dates from around 1870 and is designed in the Italian Renaissance style. It features a square plan with a base made of pink and grey granite. The upper stage is pilastered at the corners and has carved capitals. There are shell niches on each side, which are lined with mosaic work that includes an inscription. The fountain has a dentil cornice and a frieze with a key pattern. At the top, it is surmounted by a buff terracotta urn. The inscription on the east face reads: "In memory of Richard Second Marquess of Westminster died 1869."
