Description

TQ 2980 SW CITY OF WESTMINSTER ST JAMES'S PLACE SWl 81/83 24.2.58 No 14 GV II Terrace house. c.1690-93. Stucco-faced early C19, slate roof. 3 storeys, basement and dormered mansard. 3 windows wide. Semi- circular arched doorway with fanlight to right. Flush framed sash windows, no glazing bars to ground floor; lst and 2nd floors have full width canted bay, carried on cast iron columns, with flush framed sashes. Small bracketed cornice below parapet with coping. Cast iron area railings. Interior has some panelling and engaged column archway from hall to stairs, the latter with closed string, turned balusters, ramped hand rail etc. Survey of London; vol XXX
