Description

A row of houses dating to circa 1860, constructed of stucco. The building is four storeys high with an attic and basement, and each house has three windows spaced closely together. Doric projecting porches are present at ground floor level, with panelled doors. A triglyph frieze runs across the ground floor, and it is channelled. Canted bay windows are a feature of the ground floor. A balustraded balcony is located on the first floor. The windows are sash style with plate glass. Ionic half columns are positioned between the first-floor windows, and these are corniced, with pediments over the centre bays. The second-floor windows are also corniced. A dentil cornice sits above the third floor and a smaller cornice is present at the attic level. Cast iron area railings are in place. The listing recognises the group value of these houses in relation to those in Pembridge Square.
