Description

The building comprises two large houses, originally joined to form a hotel but now occupied separately, although the physical connection remains. Constructed in the mid-19th century, the houses are of stucco construction and each features three windows wide across three storeys, with a basement and attic level. Their architectural style is florid classical. Each house has a central entrance flanked by two-storey canted bay windows on either side. Elaborate dormers are present in the roof. The design is comparable to that seen at Holland Park. These houses form part of a unified scheme with numbers 6–24 and 27–35 of Pembridge Square (numbers 19–22 being located within Westminster).
