Description
Nos 138 to 142 on Whitechapel Road, dating from the 18th century, feature a facade that was altered in the early 19th century. This corner block, which was originally two properties but is now one, has a stuccoed facade with a parapet and a slate mansard roof. It stands three storeys tall with dormers and has five windows in total, which are alternately set in arches and beneath bracketed labels, all with moulded architraves. Most of the windows do not have glazing bars. The ground floor includes a modern shop front. Nos 138 to 174 form a group with The London Hospital.
