Description

HACKNEY ROAD E2 1. 4431 (North Side) Nos 375 to 385 (odd) TQ 3483 4/17 II GV 2. Early C19. Stock brick terrace with stone coping forming pediment above each pair. Linked by entrances in recessed stucco sections. 2 storeys, 2 windows each and additional round headed window over door in recessed section. Facades of Nos 379 to 385 partly rebuilt, No 385 colour-washed. No 375 has shop front built in forecourt. Windows, mainly casements with small square panes, those of Nos 375 and 377 round arched on ground floor. All round headed doorways, some pilasters and fanlights. No 385 has fine pedimented doorcase with engaged columns.

Nos 337 to 353 (odd) and Nos 359 to 385 (odd) form a group.
