Description
No 444 on Hackney Road is an early 19th-century building made of stock brick, featuring a coped parapet and a mansard slate roof. It has a stucco string course at the height of the first-floor sills. The building is two storeys tall with two windows that are sash style, most of which retain their glazing bars. The lower windows are round-headed and set within double recessed brick arches, showcasing Gothic glazing bars and margin lights. The door has been altered. This building is part of a terrace that includes Nos 446 to 450, which are slightly advanced from it. Nos 444 to 450 collectively form a group.
