Description
The embankment wall, railings, and steps on the north side of Naval Row, E14, date from the 19th century. This structure is made of stock brick and supports the embankment, which features trees and paths, and is located below the boundary wall of the East India Dock. The wall continues behind Robin Hood's Lane and is topped with iron railings that have spear-shaped finials. The embankment wall and steps are part of a group that includes the East India Dock Pumping Station and the East India Dock Boundary Wall on East India Dock Wall Road.
