Description

An early 19th-century house of yellow stock brick. It is three storeys high with a basement. The roof is not visible. The house has two sash windows with plain reveals and a round-headed door with a fanlight above. The door itself is panelled. Nos 5 to 11, Montague Place, together with Nos 1-3, 24 Bazely Street, form a group with Nos 45 to 51 (odd) and the Greenwich Pensioner Public House, Bazely Street, the gate piers to the Children’s Playground, All Saints’ Rectory, Newby Place, and All Saints' with St Frideswide Church, its churchyard walls and gate piers, along East India Dock Road.
