Description
Nos 1-15 Ivimey Street, built in 1866, is a brick and stone building featuring a triple span slate roof topped with a turret and a cupola supported by eight pillars. The turret includes a carved stone clock with a floral relief design at its center. Above the eaves cornice, there is a stone balustrade and additional decorative bands. The building has two storeys and three windows with pediments, some of which have pilasters. The centre window on the first floor features a broken pediment with a bust of Queen Adelaide. The ground floor showcases pilasters beside the windows and columns at the door, designed in the Doric order, along with an archivolt, inner panelled pilasters, a keystone, and a plain fanlight. The stone panelled plinth and quoins add to the building's character. The side elevation facing Ivimey Street has nine windows and a central doorway.
