Description

This is an early 19th-century terrace of shops and dwellings located on the west side of Aberavon Road. The building is constructed of brick with a stuccoed eaves cornice and blocking course, and features a slate mansard roof. A stucco band runs along the first-floor sill height. There are two storeys and dormers, with two windows on each floor. The upper-floor windows have rendered lintels and painted reveals. The ground floor windows are round-headed, and one doorway includes fluted pilasters. Numbers 5 to 11, along with numbers 1 to 45 (odd) and 2 to 34 (even) form a group of opposite terraces.
