Description
The iron railings, including lamp brackets, at Wapping Pier Head date from 1811 and are located in front of properties numbered 1 to 10. These railings feature spear finials and are also found on both sides of the former swing bridge leading to Wapping Basin. The railings and the paved roadway contribute to a group that includes the properties numbered 1 to 15, the Town of Ramsgate Public House at No 4½, Oliver's Wharf, a section of the wall and entrance to London Docks, and four bollards, as well as Wapping Old Stairs and Wapping High Street.
