Description

Numbers 1-3, 24 Bazely Street is an early 19th-century building constructed of yellow stock brick with a slate mansard roof. It stands three storeys high, with a basement and dormers. The façade features two sash windows with plain reveals, although the glazing bars are missing. There is a round-headed door with a fanlight, which is framed by a Greek Doric porch that includes an entablature. The door itself is panelled.

This building is part of a group that includes Nos 5 to 11 Mountague Place, as well as Nos 1-3, 24 Bazely Street, and extends to Nos 45 to 51 (odd) and the Greenwich Pensioner Public House on Bazely Street. The group also encompasses the gate piers to the Children's Playground, All Saints' Rectory on Newby Place, and All Saints' with St Frideswide Church, along with the churchyard walls and gate piers on East India Dock Road.
