Description

This is an early 19th century terrace of houses located on Campbell Road. The terrace is constructed of stock brick, with a visible stucco cornice and blocking course, and a stucco band at the first-floor sill level. A stuccoed basement is also present. The buildings are three storeys high and have two windows each. The ground-floor windows have segmental arched brick heads set under wide brick arches of a similar design. The first-floor windows are set within arched recesses. The windows are sash windows, and some have margin lights. The doors feature stuccoed panelled pilasters, a cornice hood, and an entablature, with arched panels and plain fanlights. Iron handrails remain on the steps. Numbers 6 to 44 (even) on Campbell Road form a group with numbers 1 to 27 (odd) along Arnold Road, numbers 35 to 49 (consecutive) on Arnold Road, and numbers 1 to 25 (consecutive) on Tomlins Grove.
