Description

The garden walls and piers at Nos 9 to 20 Mornington Grove were built in the late 19th century. They consist of a low garden wall topped with white stone capping, although some of this capping is missing. Between each pair of houses, there are fine piers made of stock brick, featuring large stone gabled hoods that contain niches on each face. The three northernmost piers have plain stone caps. These structures form a group with the garden walls and piers of the adjacent houses and the wall at the southern end of Mornington Grove.
