Description

Warehouse, built around 1850-60 and significantly rebuilt in the 1980s, now converted into residential use. The building is brick and has a symmetrical five-bay front on Mill Street. It rises to five storeys, topped by a truncated coped pediment gable containing two round windows. A stepped brick cornice sits below the gable. The facade replicates the original design, featuring a round-arched loading bay at the centre and segmental-headed windows within round-arched recesses on the first, second, and third floors. The interior was completely rebuilt during the 1980s. The building's rear section is separated from a newly constructed, replica dockside block by a courtyard. Vogans Mill originally housed a split pea mill, and this section forms part of a larger group of warehouses along Mill Street.
