Description

Three bollards located on the pavement near the junction with Tooley Street in Southwark are made of cast iron and date from the late 19th century. These bollards are more elaborate than typical examples, featuring Gothic details and spiral corner shafts. They represent the evolution of bollard design from the original cannon form.
