Description

St John's House is an early 19th-century building located on Romford Road in Stratford. It is three storeys tall and three windows wide, constructed from yellow stock brick with stucco dressings. The outer bays feature shallow recessed panels with gauged flat brick arches above the recessed sash windows, which still have their original glazing bars. A prostyle Doric porch is present at the central bay. The first-floor centre window is adorned with a console bricketed pediment, while the second-floor window has a moulded architrave. There is a stucco cill band at the first floor, and the parapet has been altered.
