School Treatment Centre

The School Treatment Centre, located at No 78 Lewisham Park, is a mid-19th century house that stands two storeys high with an attic and basement, featuring three windows. The building has a slated roof with end chimneys and three dormers topped with round pediments. The exterior is finished in stucco, with wide flat pilasters at the corners and between the bays that support a narrow architrave moulding, a wide frieze, and an eaves cornice. The ground floor is rusticated and includes a guilloche moulded frieze, cornice, and blocking course between the pilasters. Above the ground floor, ornamental relief panels featuring a guilloche motif are positioned below the first-floor windows. The sash windows, which have moulded architraves and margin lights, feature bracketed cills on the ground floor. A cill string runs between the pilasters on the first floor. There is a moulded architrave and a console bracketed cornice above an altered door that includes a rectangular fanlight. The building also has a one-storey extension on the left side.
