Description

Nos 20 and 20A on Old Town in Clapham are early 19th century houses that have been converted into two dwellings. They are three storeys tall and have two windows on the front. The buildings are constructed of stock brick and feature a stucco frieze and cornice, along with a stone-coped brick parapet. The sash windows, which have glazing bars, are set within stucco lined reveals and are topped with gauged flat brick arches. On the ground floor, there is a tripartite window beneath a wide elliptical gauged brick arch. To the right, there is a five-panel door flanked by fluted pilasters, topped with a cornice head and a plain fanlight. A later half-glazed door has been inserted to the left.
