Description

The gates, piers, and railings at the western block of Number 39, known as the Beaufoy School Technical Block, date from around 1907. They feature a low granite plinth and square red brick corner piers topped with terra-cotta pediments and a cornice. The wrought iron railings are designed in a scalloped pattern. There are three pairs of wrought iron gates that are hung from square wrought iron piers with crown tops.
