Description

The Rosendale Public House is a mid-19th century building that stands three storeys tall and features three windows. The ground floor was rebuilt in the late 19th century using architectural faience, while the core of the building is made of stock brick. The upper part of the front is stuccoed and includes pilasters and an entablature on the first floor, topped with a parapet. The windows are sash style and set within moulded architraves. The ground floor has a banded rusticated faience finish and a central prostyle porch supported by paired composite columns. Above the door is a round moulded architrave with moulded spandrels. There is also a smaller similar porch on the right side. The building has a four bay return to Park Hall Road, designed in a similar style.
