Description

148 Lambeth Road is a building dating from around 1800. It stands four storeys tall and features four windows, along with a lower right bay that includes a carriageway. The structure is made of stock brick and has a parapet. The upper parts have undergone significant rebuilding, with only two flat gauged brick window arches remaining. All the windows have been replaced with sash windows. Access to the building is through a later door that has six and three steps leading up to it. The door features a fluted head that is continuous with the impost blocks of a stuccoed round arched recess and an outer gauged brick arch, topped by a plain fanlight.
