Description

No. 23 Whittlesey Street is an early to mid-19th century cottage that stands at the end of a terrace that has mostly been destroyed and replaced. The cottage is two storeys high and features three windows. It is constructed of stock brick and has a tall stone-coped parapet with three blank panels above the windows. The windows are adorned with gauged flat brick arches, and the sash windows include glazing bars. The entrance features a six-panel door topped with a cornice and a plain fanlight, all set under a round gauged brick arch.
