Description
22 Cornwall Road is an early to mid-19th century, two-storey corner building featuring three-bay frontages on both Cornwall Road and Roupell Street. It is constructed of stock brick and has a parapet front with a rounded, rebated corner. Above the windows, there are blank parapet panels, and the sash windows, which have glazing bars, are topped with gauged flat brick arches, although several of these windows are blocked. The corner shop front includes fluted pilasters that support an entablature, which extends over a rounded corner doorway. The shop glazing has been altered. To the right, there is a six-panel door with a cornice head and a plain fanlight, while the right bay remains blank.
