Description

The Tomb of Major General Archibald Robertson, who died in 1847, is located in Kensal Green Cemetery. It was created by the sculptor William Theed the younger. The tomb features a sarcophagus made of Carrara marble, which has eared ends and rests on a base of Portland stone. The design includes a sunken inscription panel that is flanked by Roman swords entwined with branches of laurel.
