Description

The tomb of Thomas Hardwick and Philip Hardwick is located in Kensal Green Cemetery and dates from around 1870. It consists of a pair of tombs featuring sandstone slabs with gothic lead lettering and a marble cross adorned with instruments of the Passion to the south. This memorial honors the Hardwick family, a notable dynasty of architects, including Thomas Hardwick (1752-1829, who is buried at Brentford), Philip Hardwick (1792-1870, designer of the Euston Arch), and Philip Charles Hardwick (1822-1894).
