Description

The Technical Institute is a building from the late 19th century, constructed of red brick with stone dressings. It features five windows across its façade and consists of two storeys, plus an additional roof storey. The windows are mullioned and transomed, arranged in groups of two and three lights. The second and fourth bays are set forward and include ogee-headed entrances that are part of the mullioned windows. The parapet has segmental pediments, and there is a lantern and cupola on the roof. This building complements the adjacent library, as both were designed by the same architects.
