Description
The Elgin Public House is a mid-19th century public house that stands three storeys tall. It features four windows facing Ladbroke Grove and three windows on Westbourne Park Road. The building is constructed of brick with stucco dressings. The facade includes pedestalled columns at the ground floor. The first floor windows are round-headed and have curved cornices above them, while the second floor windows are segmental-headed and adorned with decorated keystones. The building is topped with paired consoles supporting the crowning cornices. Inside, there are notable original features that have been preserved.
