Description

Christ Church is a church built in 1839, with additions made in 1900 by architect Caröe. The building is constructed of amber brick with stone dressings and features a Gothic style. It has a six-bay galleried nave supported by tall arcades. The chancel has shallow lancet windows. Inside, the church contains a Wren pulpit and an organ that originally came from the former City Church of St Michael Queenhithe.
