Description
No. 10 Kensington Palace Gardens is a substantial house built in the mid-19th century by P. Hardwick. It has been altered in 1896 and 1903 and is designed in the Italian Renaissance style. The building features two storeys plus an attic, which has a three-bay tall pediment with a bull's eye window in the tympanum. There is a deep bracket cornice beneath the attic storey. The central three windows project forward, with one-storey bays on either side, all accented by long and short chamfered stone quoins. The entrance is located on the left side and includes a flight of steps that disappears under a low segmental arch. The interior has not been seen.
