Description

No. 20 Kensington Palace Gardens is a substantial house built between 1845 and 1846, designed by the Office of Barry. The building is faced in stucco and features two storeys plus an attic, with a width of five windows. It has Roman Doric pilasters that are coupled at either end and a broken cornice below the attic. The cornice above the attic is adorned with finials, and all windows have segmental heads. To the right, there is a single-storey wing with an Ionic porch and Ionic pilasters, which are not original to the structure. The interior has not been seen. This information is recorded in the Survey of London, Volume 37.
