Substantial house. 1851-3 by C J Richardson. Brick with stone dressings. Gothic style. Symmetrical elevation with central tower. Open parapet with Gothic tracery. Two storeys + basement. 4:3:4. Sash windows. Central oriel window with cusped transoms and open quatrefoils in parapet. Corners have diagonal buttresses. Central entrance with 4-centred arch and Gothic canopy. Interior not seen.
